- Account data: email, display name, password hash, sign-in timestamps.
- Gameplay data: scores, MazeBux balance, builds, kills, playtime, chat messages.
- Device/log data: IP address, browser, OS, error reports, performance metrics.
- Cookies / local storage: session tokens, preferences, anti-fraud signals.
We do not collect or store full payment card numbers or banking credentials — those are handled exclusively by our third-party payment processor (Stripe, Inc.).
2. How We Use Information
- Operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Authenticate users, prevent fraud and cheating.
- Run contests, leaderboards, and award prizes.
- Send transactional emails (license keys, receipts, contest results) and, with consent, occasional updates.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-Party Processors & Sub-Processors
- Stripe, Inc. — payments, subscription billing, tax handling.
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, email delivery.
- AI providers (via Lovable AI Gateway) — non-player character behavior and content moderation.
Each sub-processor handles your data under its own privacy policy.
4. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information (we do not sell personal data). Submit requests to privacy@themazegame.xyz.
5. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children.
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, encrypted at rest, RLS authorization). No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
8. Retention
We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and comply with law.
