Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 29, 2026
The Maze Game is committed to providing a digital experience that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We strive to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, the European Accessibility Act (EAA), and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Features We Provide
- Full keyboard navigation across menus, settings, and inventory.
- Gamepad / controller UI navigation for users who cannot use a mouse.
- Mobile touch controls with large 44×44 px tap targets.
- Adjustable audio with mute toggles and an in-game music player.
- Semantic HTML, ARIA labels on icon-only buttons, and visible focus indicators.
- High-contrast UI using design-system tokens that meet WCAG AA contrast ratios.
- Reduced-motion respect for users with vestibular sensitivities (where supported by the browser).
- Text alternatives for non-decorative images.
Known Limitations
Because The Maze Game is a real-time 3D environment, some features (VR mode, free-roam camera, fast-action combat) may not yet be fully accessible to all assistive technologies. We are actively working to improve these areas.
